We respect and hold in high esteem the caregivers and children we meet and build relationships with. We see our friends as image-bearers of God and having intrinsic value as created beings of a holy and loving God.

CARE

We are available to listen to our friends share their joys or struggles. We are fully 

attentive to them during our time on site. We engage in conversation and remain

present in conversation and action as we build and maintain relationships. Our friends feel valued and cared for when we show genuine interest, empathy and compassion towards them.

ENCOURAGE

We speak life and hope. We use words and actions that build up our friends and

are full of Godly truth and wisdom.

SUPPORT

This looks like love in action. It is giving time and meeting the needs of the caregivers

and children that confide in us about needs they have. This is long-term.
